Everything began with my little son Fabio taking a book about cat races in the living room of my neighbours opening the page about the Sacred Cat of Burma. That was the start of a great passion for these wonderful cats that affected not only me, but the whole family - and the neighbours, too.
Very soon I decided not to look for a pet-cat, but to have a cattery and to breed them. That is how we found our “first lady”, “Mira vom Glockenturm”.
Feeling that Mira didn´t like to be a “single”, we choose a belgian cat “Helios of Mystique Blue” in the new coloration of silver.
In Germany we were registrated under the KFG- cat-breeders-association with the cattery name “vom lächelnden Buddha” (smiling buddha).
We kept a very pretty female kitten, “Alyasha Zingara vom lächelnden Buddha ” from the first litter of Mira with the male of my friend Sandra Zeininger Sanibel Island´s Cosmo Shiva “.
After we moved to Italy, to the region of Bologne, I registered my cattery under the name of “Cielo e Seta´s” (Heaven and silk) in the Serenissima Cat Club, an organisation of the WCF.
Our cats don´t live in cages but in straight contact with our family and are free to stroll around in the whole house (with exception of my husband´s cupboard where he keeps his black shirts...).
Our kitten grow up amidst all the noise of a family with three kids and are used to the tempestuos caresses of our children.
They are not afraid of other persons and like to be hugged and cuddled. They don´t have problems to integrate when moving to their new owne´s home.
